Practical Information

“Practical Information” will help you to get in touch with SLE TRAINING and will facilitate your travel arrangements and your stay in Berlin. Take the necessary few minutes to read the following pages carefully. You will find the information you need on visa and insurance issues, accommodation arrangements, and Berlin in general. Do not hesitate to get in touch with us if you have any further questions.

If you need to apply for a visa, do so as soon as possible. In some countries it takes 20 working days (one month) to obtain a visa. We have had unfortunate cases where people were unable to attend the programme because they had not applied for a visa in time!

Please note: Most German embassies require an official letter of invitation sent directly to their address. If you require such a letter please let us know the following:

  • the email address of the consular section at the embassy in charge of your arrival and departure dates
  • whether you wish to travel in Europe. If this is the case you should apply for a multiple entry visa that will allow you to travel to and from Schengen countries

Please note: you cannot extend your visa once you are in Germany!

Health, Accident and Personal Liability Insurance:

Participants are kindly asked to organize their own insurance.
