Sponsors and Partners
The SLE's post-graduate programme is supported by various partners and donors.
Our partners cooperate with us in one of the following ways:
- The JIRP studies are directly commissioned by development organisations. These organisations include, for example GIZ, KfW, Welthungerhilfe, FAO, Misereor, research-funding bodies such as BMBF, among others.
- As part of our study programme, the SLE regularly invites experts from development organisations and scientific institutions as guest speakers. This includes employees of the BMZ, GIZ, KFW, Weltfriedensdienst, Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, Potsdam University, GIGA, INEF, IDOS and others.
- For two of its courses, the SLE has specific collaboration arrangements: Welthungerhilfe provides training staff for the module in 'Development-oriented emergency and transition aid', and the Heinrich Böll Foundation co-organizes our annual Development Policy Discussion Days (EPDT).
- The SLE is able to guarantee close contact with the field of development cooperation in part because of the involvement of its client organisations in the admissions process and their membership of SLE committees (BMZ, Berlin Senate for Economics, Technology and Research/Landesstelle EZ, GIZ, Welthungerhilfe, Institute of Agricultural and Horticultural Sciences, Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, consultancy/advisory services companies: GFA Consulting Group, GOPA, AFC Consulting Group (in alteration), IDOS, The Senate of Berlin).
