Educational Goals

Today, experts working in organisations and programmes active in the field of international cooperation require not only a high degree of professional expertise but also special analytical, theoretical and communicative skills. They need to be able to think systematically, act flexibly and manage complex relationships in solving problems.

The aim of the study programme is to integrate students into the field of international cooperation, and to equip them with the skills and experience they need in order to be able to work together with partners in developing countries on sustainable development projects.

The post-graduate programme in 'International Cooperation for Sustainable Development' is designed to deliver these skills, both at the theoretical level and in practical application. As well as a knowledge of current issues in development studies and strategies for sustainable development, the students extend and strengthen their methodological skills, and get many opportunities to put these to the test.
