Photo Contest on the theme “Transformation” -

The SLE welcomes submissions for a new online photo exhibition on the theme of “transformation” to coincide with the 60th anniversary of the Center for Rural Development. Entries close 31 May 2022.Accepted pictures will be available to view online in the gallery on our anniversary website starting July 2022: sle-stories.de
The top three pictures will be announced during the 60th anniversary celebration on July 7 and 8 and will be awarded the following prizes:
1st= EUR 250
2nd= EUR 150
3rd= EUR 50
Please upload your picture and a text file with 2-3 sentences on why the picture represents “transformation” to the HU-Box using the following link: https://box.hu-berlin.de/u/d/99e7e36cf8554b11b6fb/
All text files must contain the description of the image, the title of the image and your name and email address.
All submitted files (picture and text) must be named with the title of the work and the photographer's name (image-title-by-firstname-lastname).
Files that are not labelled correctly will not be accepted.
Only one entry per participant will be accepted.
Entries close 31 May 2022.
Specifications for Entries:
All submitted files must be named with the title of the work and the photographer's name. Files that are not labelled correctly may not be accepted. Correct file naming looks like this: image-title-by-firstname-lastname.jpg Images can be landscape, portrait or square format. Submitted images must be jpegs no larger than 4,500 pixels on the longest edge and less than 5mb in size. Images that do not meet these criteria may not be accepted.
We will be in touch by email to inform entrants who are selected for exhibition by 30 June, 2022.
Terms & Conditions:
Images must be your own work or you have permission to use them, such as from your employer. You must not plagiarize other people's images or infringe copyright. You may wish to watermark or otherwise mark your images to limit misuse by third parties and upload low resolution images at 72dpi.
Copyright remains with the originator, and it shall be assumed that each photographer owns the entire copyright in the work unless otherwise stated.
The SLE reserves the right to display, reproduce and publish in any media any entry, without payment, for the purpose of the exhibition and publicity. If we do so, we will credit the image using the file name that is provided by the photographer when submitting (image-title-by-firstname-lastname).
At the end of the Online Exhibition period, the selected images will be archived on the SLE website under our Anniversary page where they may continue to be viewed by the public.
