Publication of the case study 'Preparing and Accessing Decent Work Amongst Rural Youth in Cambodia"

The handbook "Preparing and Accessing Decent Work Amongst Rural Youth in Cambodia" was developed in 2017 by SLE participants Lisa Kirtz, Manuel Marx, Nora Nebelung, Verena Vad, Johannes von Stamm under the direction of Dr. Heidi Feldt.

Based on an empirical study in Cambodia, the study shows what skills and training opportunities young people aged 15-17 need, in order to subsequently gain easier access to decent employment in rural areas.

This study supported the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries and FAO Cambodia in developing appropriate policies and strategies to ensure the development and sustainability of the agricultural sector in Cambodia. The same team also produced the handbook "How to Bridge the Skills Gap to Promote Decent Rural (Youth) Employment
