SLE RESEARCH: Sustainability of modern agri-food systems (AES) - requirements for the development and promotion of agri-food value chains in development cooperation.

 

Professional profile

Agricultural Economist: Analytical and technical work on agricultural statistics with a focus on methodologies for estimating production costs, farm-level productivity, and efficiency. Development of training material for statisticians and agricultural officers in developing countries in Africa and Asia-Pacific. Experience in supporting developing countries in farm level data collection and analysis, working with and within governments, development organizations, and NGOs. Training session development and capacity building in data collection and analysis, policy analysis, and sector analysis. Benchmarking of production systems and their economics.
