The International Seminar addresses the potentials and challenges of agroecopreneurship as a pathway to adapt to and to mitigate climate change. The agroecopreneurship movement is still new and volatile, given the powerful agri-food-business actors and settings. Participants discuss the collaborative efforts of research farmers, agroecopreneurs, scientists, and other value chain actors to mobilise for the transformation of our food systems.
Our keynote speakers are Nick Jacobs, Director International Panel of Experts on Sustainable Food Systems (IPES-Food) and Maria Rowena A. Buena, Regional Coordinator for MASIPAG Luzon, IFOAM PGS Committee. Acroecopreneurs from the Netherlands, Kenya, and Indonesia present and discuss their experiences.
The seminar will be held on 24th May 2022 in a hybrid format – offline (in Bandung, Java, Indonesia) and online (via Zoom).
