Ph.D. in Agricultural and Resource Economics. Many years of experience as a chairholder, project manager, and university professor at Humboldt University in Berlin. Expertise particularly in the areas of value chains and rural cooperatives, as well as international professional experience as a consultant and expert for various international organizations, including GIZ, FAO, the World Bank, Conservation International, and UN-DESA. Director of the SLE since 2019.
