Paul lives in London, United Kingdom, and focuses on research and advocacy in the areas of migration, diaspora development, and humanitarian aid. Paul has 20 years of experience leading community development and public health projects, as well as conducting research in Africa, Europe, and the United Kingdom. Paul is also a research fellow at the Center for African Studies at SOAS, University of London, where his research interests include the following topics: diaspora, migration, and development; culture, health, and migrant communities; and Islamic development models in North Africa and the Horn of Africa.
