Postgraduate Course for undergraduates with initial practical experience in developmental cooperation

Expanding competence, design cooperation structures based on partnership, plan, manage and assess programmes and projects, enhance personal skills: This twelve-month postgraduate course offers the best prerequisite to enter the field of development cooperation.

This one-year postgraduate course is held in German and starts in January and ends in December. It is a full time course and attendance is mandatory. Every year, twenty participants expand their knowledge of development policy and learn about strategies and instruments of sustainable development.

Furthermore, they intensively tackle specific methods of management which are applied in development cooperation. In addition, their communication and team skills are expanded. These skills are then put to use during a 3- month project placement abroad. This course is funded through scholarships. The SLE postgraduate course has been at the heart of SLE for 50 years.
